Holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi, marking the birth and passing of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) was observed on 19 October 2021 at the Embassy of Bangladesh in Rome, Italy with due solemnity and religious fervour. A discussion meeting-cum-special prayer marked the day. Bangladesh Ambassador to Rome Mr. Md. Shameem Ahsan in his remarks, highlighted on the glorious life and great contribution of the Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SM) for the mankind. We can attain fine human qualities  like tolerance, kindness, honesty etc. from him- the Ambassador added. Officers of the Mission and Hafez Mawlana Mikail Hossain also highlighted the importance of the day.

Special prayer was conducted seeking the unity of Muslim Ummah and salvation of the departed souls of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, martyred family members and martyrs of the War of Liberation and for prosperity of the country. The Officers and Officials of the Embassy were present.
